My wife and I visited the Silk Village on Hoi An to see and have a go at some of the processes that go into making silk. I wasn't sure that I would enjoy it but I did immensely, though I am not sure I will get a job weaving anytime soon, the guides and ladies demonstrating were very patient and tried not to laugh at my efforts too much. There is also a shop which sells quality items at what seems to me to be fair prices and you can be confident that what you are buying is genuine. I would highly recommend, it is good fun and something slightly different to do on your trip. Less
