According to the US magazine Forbes, Da Nang has one of the six most beautiful beaches in the world, with a 30km long beach, white sand and clear blue water, the famous Son Tra peninsula, Han river with bridges the city’s symbol, and its prime location surrounded by world cultural heritage sites. The competition held here features a stunning route that offers the chance to admire the dazzling beauty of the coastal city when dawn comes.
Danang International Marathon 2024 is rated as one of the three most beautiful marathons in the region (Radisson, 2015) and was ranked third out of the six most must-join marathons in Asia (Rad Seasons Magazine, USA).
ABOUT DANANG INTERNATIONAL MARATHON 2024
Danang International Marathon 2024 welcomes you to one of Vietnam’s longest-running and largest international marathons, with a stunning route through the country’s most livable city, Da Nang.
Each year, thousands of domestic and international athletes compete, conquer running, and explore Da Nang at the following distances: Marathon (42,195km), Half Marathon (21.0975km), 10km, 5km, and Ronny Dash (1.5km).
The 2024 edition, which will be held on March 24, 2024, promises to provide many new, exciting, and desirable experiences for all participants.
Danang International Marathon 2024 is the first professional international Marathon in Vietnam to be certified by the International Marathon Association (AIMS) and the World Athletics Federation (IAAF) in 2014. Participants’ results in the race are eligible to register for the world’s most prestigious marathons, including the Boston Marathon, London Marathon, New York City Marathon, Berlin Marathon, Chicago Marathon, and Tokyo Marathon.
