Hoi An is a place keeping the traditional cultural values in Vietnam’s central region. Many Vietnamese habits, customs, and traditions are rooted in and conditioned by religious beliefs. The tour begins with a visit to The Tran Family Home and Chapel where is the gathering place for all members of the family to meet and express their thankfulness to their ancestors every year. We then visit Hoi An Central Market to get more insight of the worship activities. The offerings such as flowers, incense, fresh fruit, and rice wine are sold in a significant area in the market. The journey continues with a stop at a votive paper making family where you can learn about the traditional way to make motorbikes, cars, houses, clothes, money from paper, and pieces of bamboo. These stuffs will be burnt with belief that they will be delivered to the ancestors. Then, we will take a break and enjoy dinner at a local vegetarian restaurant. Visit Cam Pho Communal house, an oldest communal house in Hoi An. This place is the place which holds meeting of the villages's officials, and also a place for worship. Arrive at an ancient house with unique decoration to enjoy a Vietnamese coffee while making a DIY flower lantern. Don’t forget to write down your wishes when dropping the lantern to the river. Enjoy a relaxing moment while watching the river flickering with many hopes and dreams. Note: If you go on the 1st, 14th, 15th, and 30th day of the lunar calendar every month, you will see the businesses and locals worship for their health, wealth and happiness. Caution: Foreigners in Vietnam are allowed to drive a motorbike only with a Vietnamese driver’s license. Purchasing this tour, you should be aware of and abide by the Vietnamese Law.
