Full-day Mystical My Son And Marble Mountains Adventure

A fantastic day tour, perfect way to see some of the culture sites of the area. Both the My Son relics and the Marble Mountains had amazing sights to offer even on a not so sunny day. Our tour guide, Key, was helpful and very knowledgeable about all the areas as well as the regions we drove through. Would highly recommend this tour as everythings planned for you, all you need to do is get on the bus.

My son is a good place for you to discover when you come to Danang. It is far from Danang city but the transportation is so advantage. It is religious and political capital the Champa Kingdom

Full day but well worth it. My Son was very interesting lunch at the beach-side restaurant good. Visit to Lady Buddah was exceptional, and topped off by a visit to Marble Moutain. Very knowledgable guide.

We travelled to My Son from Hoi An in a small group of 8. My Son is an amazing historic site and well worth seeing. The history is very interesting as it is actually older than Angkor Wat. Sadly a lot of it was destroyed during the Vietnam War but there are still significant remains there. It brings it all sadly into perspective about the war when you have to keep to the paths because of the thousands of still unexploded landmines around Vietnam which they are slowly clearing over many years. The only bad thing I would say was it is was incredibly hot at My Son. It was about 44 degrees and very humid. Maybe not the best time to go in May but it was hot and humid everywhere else as well. Marble Mountain was beautiful as well with amazing caves with buddhas carved from the mountain itself all in one piece. Well worth seeing as well and the views from the top are beautiful looking over Danang.

Had the pleasure of getting a tour with guide Khoa who was funny and kind, and shared alot of information about Vietnam in general, but also My Son and the marble mountains. After the tour of these two, we drove to the monkey mountains, where the big lady Buddha is watching over the fishermen. We also got a glimpse of the monkeys (who usually hide from all the tourists). I was supposed to go with a friend who got sick, so Khoa also made sure that I got the right pictures for her to see when I got back. Very pleased with this trip.

This day tour is well worth the time. Going to the Lady Buddha and the Marble Mountain are easy, but getting to My Son Sanctuary in the afternoon makes this tour shine. Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. She had a tough accent to navigate, but she was pleasant and attentive. It rained in the mountains, but the Champa dancers more than made up for it. Highly recommended; Hoi An Express did a very nice job. Also, a comfortable van is important since My Son is about 70 Km from Da Nang beach area.

Guide Tran Dang Khoa was knowledgeable very courteous and attentive. Magic mountain was breathtaking and a must see. We also saw the lady buddha on monkey mountain then headed back to Hoi An for lunch at Blue Whale - fabulous. The drive to My Son through countryside was another treat. A great tour, highly recommend it.

What a exciting day. We were picked up early from our hotel by our guide and driven with 6 others to My son through the townships of Ho An and Da Nang. We arrived and caught the small train to the ruins of this amazing place. Our guide explained the significance of the site and we explored the insides of the many temples. We had plenty of time for our photos and then had a long walk back to the little train that took us back to our bus. As we had booked the whole day tour and the others with us only a half day we drove back into town to drop them off. We then went into Ho An and walked to our restaurant for a delicious lunch. The menu had already been selected the day beforebyanemail so it was ready for us when we arrived so no time was wasted. We then walked back to the bus and were taken to Marble Mountain after a brief stop at a marble factory. Here we viewed avast amount of marble statues for sale. Arriving at marble mountain we were taken in a lift to a higher section however there were many steps to climb to the top of the mountain. Great caves to view then a very steep decent to the bottom. I had great diffycoming down and my daughters needed to assist me down as the marble is very slippery. I was exhausted by this time as it was very hot. Next onto the Big very tall Buddha on to of monkey mountain. Great views but no monkeys. Back to the resort through the streets of Da nang. It was an amazing day however there was no mention of the fitness level required for this tour non the amount of steps that you need to climb. I really enjoyed this day but the overview needs to be revised.

We would recommend this trip. There was only 2 of us on this tour. It was very interesting and loads of fun.

The tour was well organised and the guide gave a good amount of information on all the sites visited. The tour included lunch and 3 site destinations well worth the money.

Ok our guide was knowledgable and friendly with laughs all throughout the day he really got everyone’s attention. If you do this trip ensure that you have sensible foot wear as there’s a lot of walking involved throughout the day along with sunscreen and perhaps a hat

We loved this trip. Possibly one of the best we have done in Vietnam. Our expectations were quite low as we have seen so many temples and thought it would be more of the same. Snow was a great guide, so friendly and fun. The scenery was stunning. Lunch was excellent too. A really idyllic location at Brother's Cafe. Marble Mountain was a surprise as there was so much to see. Be ready for plenty of walking. My Son was very very hot so be prepared to sweat! At the end of the day we went to Monkey Mountain too which was an added bonus. Fantastic value for money.

My mum and I had a fantastic time! Our tour guide Sang was informative and engaging and really made our experience. Food was great and definitely value for money.

We had a great time on our tour. It was a full on day in the heat but Sand was a great guide. He was informative, attentive and friendly. Especially when it came to checking in on us as the afternoon temperatures were upwards of 30 degrees. The lunch was provided was also lovely and route was interesting and engaging. Thank you again, would highly recommend!

You really get a lot out of this day. All of the stops on this tour are very picturesque and brimming with history. If you are short on time, this would be a really great way to see the “must-see” attractions and the surrounding countryside. Even if you aren’t in a hurry - it’s a really rewarding day. Your tour guide takes care of everything, including entry tickets and transfers. The tour includes a wonderful lunch. Sit down by the river at Brother’s Cafe, surrounded by luxurious gardens and historic buildings. The food was very good and all you need to pay for is drinks. You can select from a number of set menus which all include local Hoi An specialties. There is a lot of walking and even with the elevator, a lot of steps at the Marble Mountains. Walking shoes with good grip would be very useful. The stairs at the Marble Mountains are a little uneven in areas and could be slippery in the wet. Women should be aware that some of the locals may take offence at showing a lot of skin. There is access to sarongs at the Linh Ung pagoda and both men and women will need to use them unless you are wearing longer pants. Only thing I would change is to skip the visit to the marble-goods shop, which seemed like a bit of a distraction from an otherwise fantastic day.

We were picked up from our hotel promptly by our guide Huan. Took about an hour to get to My Son Sanctuary to admire the ruins. Followed by a nice lunch back in Hoi An by the Thu Bon river before we headed out to Marble Mountain. Marble Mountain was amazing especially to see how they have these huge statues located inside the mountain. Finally the last stop at Monkey Mountain and Linh Ung pagoda was nice with a great view of Danang city.

What a great day trip, far exceeding our expectations & well worth the cost. We cautiously booked the trip online through Trip Advisor based on the itinerary & the reviews. I was not quite sure about the value for money (it was Aus$114 each) and wondered if I could do the sights myself a lot cheaper. But I was happy once we got going in the mini van with our superb guide River and 7 other passengers. River was a great guide, she was happy, confident, full of facts & local knowledge. Our trip to Monkey Mountain, the big pagoda and then the giant white Buddha statue, was great. Then we went to the Marble Mountain & explored the various caves & temples. The caves were massive, cathedral like, with other smaller ones leading off into areas described as descending into hell and others rising up to heaven. River showed us around and explained much of the history of the place. Afterwards we went for a lovely 3 course lunch at the riverfront Brothers Cafe in Hoi An and then drove out into the countryside to the My Son temple complex. The afternoon tour there was extensive & again River was very informative, ensuring we all had the opportunity to ask questions & understand the different style of structures in the history of Vietnam. It was a great 10 hour day tour, full of sights, facts & fun.

We were picked up on time at our hotel by our driver and our guide Luc. We visited Marble Mountains, My Son and Lady Buddha. Luc was very informative and gave us lots of time to wander and take in all the sights. They take you to My Son first which is good as it got really warm very quickly and there isn't much shade there. The communication we had from the company was excellent - they respond very promptly to questions and they amended our schedule with no issues. There are quite a few steps at the Marble Mountains. You will want to be reasonably able bodied and fit to manage these. There is an elevator up the mountain but still many stairs to negotiate while up there.

It was a beautiful and pleasant experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a lot of knowledge. He explained many things to us, in simple and understandable English. Lunch was rich and delicious.

We had an amazing time with our guide. She was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the trip. Lunch was delicious and the bus driver always turned up where we needed. Thank you for a fantastic day.

Great day out especially for children and the young at heart. It is a fabulous experience and a fun day. Even in the clouds, it takes on a magical experience. We'll worth the visit.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. Abby was so knowledgeable and also so kind and it was great to really get to know someone so lovely while also learning so much. Highly recommend!

An adventure-packed day ! My Son is a must-see, it's way more vast than one sees in photos, it's a green Paradise ! Lady Buddha offers a beautiful panorama of the city and Marble Mountain's caves are equally impressive. This experience would not have been the same without our guide Mr. Tom, who took great care of us and answered all of our questions throughout the day.

La Siesta Hoi An is amazing from the moment you enter the reception area to the gardens, rooms are all wonderful. The best part is the staff they cannot do enough to make your stay amazing. Mr Mike and Mr Long thank you for making our stay so wonderful, I would also love to thank Lan, Tri Nguyon, Thuong and Ngan you made staying there a pleasure with you wonderful service skills, laughter and friendless we were made welcome. I would also like to say thank you to the cleaning staff as the rooms are spotless. My husband and I are now looking forward to our next trip there. I had read you only need 4 day in Hoi An, well we were there for 15 day and still there was plenty to see and do. Restaurants there are two at La Siesta The Temple and Red Bean also four swimming pools a spa facility it is a total resort. Thank you La Siesta
