Embark on a unique journey to the Cao Dai Holy Temple, a vibrant complex showcasing a blend of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Christianity. After lunch, conquer Black Lady Mountain, the highest peak in southeastern Vietnam, offering breathtaking views. Experience a thrilling cable car ride or opt for a scenic trek while enjoying the natural beauty and serene temples that adorn this majestic landscape.
We will first head to Cao Dai Holy Temple. This temple complex includes houses, administrative offices, residences for officials and adepts and a hospital specializing in traditional Vietnamese herbal medicine, attracting people from all over the south for treatments. The temple will surprise you with its colorful decorations on the wall, ceilings and pillars. It is home to the Cao Dai sect, which practices a unique hybrid of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Christianity.
After lunch at a local restaurant, we will proceed to Black Lady Mountain, approximately 11 kilometers northeast of Tay Ninh, near the Vietnamese - Cambodian Border. Black Lady Mountain consists of three major peaks, covering an area of 24 kilometers and reaching an altitude of 986 meters. Conquering the 986-meter-high mountain, the highest in the nation’s southeastern region, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The beautiful temples and caves on the mountain, which once housed Buddhist monks and nuns, remain largely undisturbed.
While soaring on the cable car, you will enjoy a panoramic view of a waterfall shimmering under the mysterious sun, and dense forest. However, for those who prefer not to take the cable car, there's also the option to trek to the top of the mountain.
Caution: Visitors are kindly asked to wear trousers or skirts covering the knees. Don’t forget to remove your hats, coats, and shoes before entering the temple.
