enjoyed boat ride to pagoda, lunch and Hue - tour guide seemed like he was going through the motion. He was nice but didn’t seem particularly interested in interacting with us. - don’t like stop at jewelry store. They say it’s a restroom stop but doesn’t need to be 30 mins for 6 people.

Activity was interesting and guide was knowledgeable, friendly etc - it was a great tour, the only thing we didn’t like was going to the marble shop, where they hope you buy things. That part was a complete waste of time and a bit embarrassing.

This was a great way to experience a tragic part of Vietnam’s history. Our guide Pham was full of local knowledge and made the trip so interesting. To stand in the Museum at My Lai was something I will never forget, to read the stories of what happened on that day and face the incomprehensible in a time when war is still raging in parts of the world. I think the part that moved me the most was the footpaths as you walk around the village, whick have preserved the bare footproots of the villagers and the treads of the GI boots.
