Itinerary

Tour Itinerary

Start your day with a visit to Bao Dai's Summer Palace, the summer residence of the last Vietnamese King, Bao Dai, and his family. Emperor Bao Dai ascended to the throne at just 13 years old, ruling Vietnam from 1925 until his abdication to the Việt Minh in 1945. He was the last of the Nguyễn Kings, who united the country and established a feudal capital in Hue.

Next, explore the unique Crazy House, famous for its surreal architecture that resembles a cross between a Disney castle and an adventure playground for adults.

Afterward, enjoy the serene Domaine de Marie Monastery, also known as the Cherry Apricot Church. Here, visitors can admire the beautiful European-inspired architecture nestled in the heart of Da Lat.

The final stop is Lam Vien Square, considered the heart of Da Lat. The square is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and remarkable architecture, including the giant Wild Sunflower and the colorful glass-based Artichoke Flower Bud, offering a breathtaking view of Ho Xuan Huong Lake.

My Experience on the Half-day Journey Through Da Lat’s History and Landmarks

The Half-day Journey Through Da Lat’s History and Landmarks was a fantastic way to explore the city's unique charm in a short amount of time. Our tour took us to some of Da Lat’s most iconic historical sites, like the beautiful Da Lat Railway Station and the charming Linh Phuoc Pagoda. The guide was insightful, sharing interesting facts and stories about the city's French colonial past and its role in Vietnamese history. The views were stunning, especially from the Truc Lam Zen Monastery, where we had a peaceful moment overlooking the lake. For anyone short on time but wanting to experience the essence of Da Lat, this tour is a must-do.
