This tour will take you from the densely populated Ho Chi Minh City to the dense jungle depths of the 72,000-hectare Nam Cat Tien National Park. Spend two days exploring the diverse flora and fauna of this vast park, including a nocturnal animal’s night tour and a hike to see swamp-dwelling crocodiles!
We will depart from Ho Chi Minh City for Nam Cat Tien National Park. Before enjoying the activities the park has to offer, we will check-in at our Guesthouse and have lunch at a restaurant in the forest. After lunch, we will travel by boat to Fairy Island. You can explore the park and spend time taking in the beauty of the diverse plant and wildlife here. You will also have the opportunity to visit the 400-year-old conifer tree as well as Bang Lang tree (Lagerstroemia corniculata), which is almost 300 years old. We will then enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before venturing out on an evening hike to spot nocturnal animals.
In the morning, we will have breakfast before traveling by jeep to Crocodile Swamp. This includes a 5 kilometers hike through some of the most beautiful jungle Vietnam has to offer. Once we arrive, we can learn about the crocodiles and engage in activities with them or if you prefer, just relax and watch. After that, we will hike 5 kilometers back and have lunch before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City.
