Free in the morning. Transfer to have lunch. Visit Yangon City tour of colonial buildings - City Hall, High Court, General Post Office, Customs House and colonial landmark Strand Hotel while passing religious pagodas and well maintained parks. Then head to visit the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, the country’s holiest Buddhist shrine that is perhaps the most beautiful pagoda complex in all of Asia. Enjoy the stunning sunset before going back to the hotel. Overnight in Yangon.
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Yangon International airport to go to Bagan. Upon arrival at Bagan Nyaung-U airport, pick up and transfer to the hotel. Check in and relax. Overnight in Bagan.
Start your day with the busy Nyaung U Market, and then proceed to visit some of the distinctive pagodas in Bagan as Ananda Temple - one of the finest, largest and best persevered in Old Bagan; Ananda Ok Kyaung - one of the few surviving brick monastery buildings from the Early Bagan period and Htilominlo Temple - one of the last Myanmar Style temples built in this ancient city. After lunch, visit a lacquerware workshop and enjoy a panoramic scene of glorious Bagan against a stunning back-drop of the sun dropping into the distant hills. Overnight in Bagan.
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the bus station to go to Mandalay. Upon arrival at the bus station, pick up and transfer to the hotel. Check in and relax. Overnight in Mandalay.
Discover the sites in and around Mandalay, including the capital of Amarapura, U Bein bridge - the world’s longest teak bridge and a magnificent monastery. In the afternoon, after lunch, drive out of Mandalay and then take the local ferry to visit Inwa (also known as Ava), the historically important former royal capital, located on an island between the Ayeyarwady and the Myitnge Rivers. Pass through the ancient city walls to visit a brick and stucco monastery called Maha Aungmye Bonzan (also known as Ok Kyaung) and see Nanmyin Watch Tower and the impressive wooden monastery of Bagaya Kyaung. End the day with a visit to Mandalay Hill enjoy the magnificent views from the 230m high summit. Overnight in Mandalay.
Have breakfast at the hotel and relax until the time of transfer to Mandalay International airport for your departure flight.
