The Marble Mountains are a cluster of five marble and limestone mountains which are named after the five elements. Stone steps carved into the mountain lead to a Buddhist Pagoda. You can also discover stunning caves and enjoy the beautiful view from the mountain top. Next, you will go to Am Phu Cave where there's a replica of heaven and hell, Marble Mountains are also home to Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, which is a unique craft village. Situated at the foot of the Marble Mountains, this craft village has a proud history covering more than 200 years.

Leaving Marble Mountains, we will head north to visit the Son Tra Peninsula. It is 693-meter high above sea level and 10 kilometers from the center of Da Nang City to the North-East. Staying at this elevated position we will pay a visit to Linh Ung Pagoda, considered one of the biggest pagodas in Da Nang City. The most striking feature of this vast pagoda is its huge Lady Buddha statue, which is one of the tallest in Vietnam (67 meters) and spectacularly dominates the skyline. From here, you can contemplate the whole city, mountain and Son Tra peninsula. In addition, from the distance, you will see Marble Mountains along with white sand-bank. Really enjoyed both places we visited on this tour, even more than I thought I would! Fantastic views back to Danang and the ocean from the Lady Buddha on Son Tra, amid beautiful temple grounds with bonsais and statues. The caves and sculptures in the Marble Mountain were quite thought-provoking - I thought the two Buddhas playing chess in one of the caves was particularly surprising and curious! Our guide, Eric, was really fun and had all kinds of intriguing information about both places and Buddhism in general. Both places are beautiful, well worth seeing.

Our tour was excellent in extremely hot humid conditions we braved the steps to the top of Marble Mountain. Ming our guide was informative and was considerate of our needs in the weather conditions.

Unfortunately we did this tour in a heavy rain with ponchos and umbrellas. Our shoes and socks were soaked. It was very difficult to get any photos really. The cave tour was slippery marble steps and some rooms were closed due to flooding. The guide spoke good English but rushed through the tour and started talking about the next point of interest before the whole group was there. We hit Danang in a tropical storm period unfortunately. I would definitely recommend this tour in better weather though.

The tour was fun and extremely educational. Our tour guide spoke very good English and was filled with local knowledge. The trip up Marble Mountain was great with the exception of all of the steps we had to climb. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
